"Dance was not just a physical movement, but a powerful means of artistic expression and storytelling," said Michael Jackson. Well how naive I was to understand this until my legs started to move to the rhythm of my heart, and my body became a canvas where my emotions painted a story only dance could tell. It's through every step, every leap, that I found the freedom to express my true self and share my soul with the world.

Fun and Enjoyment
Dance for me is patience & a way to calm myself. It is an emotion & sometimes your steps express an emotion more than your words.

A magical experience ✨
Dance for me is that 1 in a bar which I just have to catch!
'To Dance' to me means to get in touch with my core self. Each and every move, step and twirl brings with itself a sense of satisfaction unfound in anything else. I feel I need to give it my all & polish it until it makes sense to me.
Freedom of mind and body - acting in sync, and fun meeting new nice people - after all it is a social dance. A lot depends on the instructors and the environment so thanks to Anu and Lakshay and batchmates. Special thanks to Lakshay - who has demonstrated his skills as both a leader and a follower. Also thanks to Mrinmayee for the wonderful workshop and encouragement.

Meditation, Boosting my senses
I’ve always been a wallflower that likes to observe the world and characters in it as they come and go by. I shy away from conversations that leads to a lot of things left being untold and a lot of feelings bottled up and unexpressed. So dance to me is an outlet of my feelings. When I dance, I am just me. I’m free.
Dance for me is an escape from usual life. Something that makes you feel relaxed and happy.
